Be a Good Digital Political Consumer

We all get them.  That political email that makes you click before you think!

Just a few days ago, it was the meme that Nancy Pelosi might win the Speaker's gavel again (although that one played out several days ago).

Nevertheless, many of these are scams.  If you click 'Reply' then you get an instant bounce.

That should arouse your suspicions.  Less than a minute of research will reveal all, even if it's a hot meme that you really want to click.

Campaigns: don't do this.  Check to see if this is being done 'in your name' without your knowledge (frequently it is).  Click 'Reply' to your own email and make sure it does not bounce.  Make sure the email box is staffed and your staff is answering within one day.
