There was surprising response to the last post - even though I simply mentioned in passing that many GOP organizations already have the capability to track member and donor recruitment online, but many are not using it. Nationbuilder already has it - part of the following video looks at options for adding it to your Wordpress site.
It's true - the capability is already built-in to most Nationbuilder sites and takes only a few clicks to deploy - as a matter of fact, it's already deployed for you; you just need to look at the reports that are already there, and spend a few clicks to deploy public recognition (a leaderboard perhaps?) of your people who are already emailing links to your site and your donation page.
Wordpress allows you to have plug-ins that help with various tasks... so we look at some options for adding tracking to your Wordpress site, too.
